Terms of Service

The short version: pay for what you use, don't abuse the tool, whatever you make here is yours, and if something goes wrong email me and I'll fix it. The long version is below, written so you can actually understand what you're agreeing to.

1. Who's behind this

SUNO GPT (sunogpt.ai) is built and run by me, ChillPanic. It turns your song ideas into prompts you can paste into Suno. When these terms say "I" or "me", that's ChillPanic. When they say "you", that's you. Questions about anything here: chillpanic@sunogpt.ai. A real human (me) answers.

2. Not affiliated with Suno

SUNO GPT is an independent tool. It's not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Suno, Inc. "Suno" is their trademark, and everything you do inside Suno itself, including the rights to the music it makes, is governed by Suno's own terms, not mine. Same goes for OpenAI: "GPT" in the name comes from this tool's origin as a custom GPT, and OpenAI doesn't run or endorse this site.

3. Your account

You sign up with an email and password, or with Google. You need to be at least 13 to use SUNO GPT. Keep your login to yourself: your account is for you, not your whole Discord server. You get one free trial per person, ever. Making extra accounts to farm free prompts is the kind of thing that gets accounts suspended.

4. The free trial

You get 10 free prompts when you sign up, no card required. They're a one-time deal, they don't refill weekly or monthly. When they're gone you can pick a plan or just walk away, no hard feelings.

5. Plans, prompts, and billing

Starter is $4.99/month for 100 prompts. Pro is $9.99/month for 400. Studio is $29.99/month for 1,200. Annual plans give you 2 months free ($49.99, $99.99, and $299.99 a year). If these numbers and the checkout page ever disagree, the checkout price is what you pay.
Payments run through Stripe. I never see your card number, Stripe handles all of that.
Your monthly prompts reset at the start of each calendar month. Unused prompts don't roll over.
Subscribers can buy a top-up pack: +100 prompts for $2.99. Pack prompts kick in after your monthly allowance runs out, and they expire at the end of the calendar month, so grab one when you need it, not in advance.
A prompt only counts when a generation succeeds. If the generator errors out, you don't lose anything.
There's a speed limit of 10 generations per minute so scripts can't hammer the service. If you somehow hit it, wait a few seconds.
If a price ever needs to change, existing subscribers get an email before it affects their renewal.

6. Cancelling

Cancel anytime from Manage billing inside the app. One click, no hoops, no guilt trip. You keep your prompts until the end of the period you already paid for. After that your account drops back to free-trial status, and any unused monthly or pack prompts expire.

7. Refunds

I'd rather fix a problem than argue about it. If you got double charged, paid for something you didn't get, or hit a technical problem I can't sort out, email me and I'll make it right, up to a full refund. What I don't refund is a month you forgot to cancel or prompts you used and then changed your mind about. For one-time digital downloads like the Brain: since you get the whole thing instantly, those sales are final, but if you can't get it working I'll personally help you get it set up.

8. The Brain and other digital products

Some things here are one-time purchases, like the Brain (the full SUNO GPT training data package). Those come with a personal license: yours to use forever, on your own accounts and projects, with every update I release included free. What the license doesn't cover is sharing, reselling, or republishing the files. Don't buy it once and hand it to your whole server.

9. What you make is yours

Every style prompt, exclude list, and lyric SUNO GPT writes for you belongs to you. I claim zero ownership over your ideas or your results, and you can use them commercially. Two honest caveats: the generator isn't exclusive, so someone with a similar idea can get similar output, and the copyright status of AI-generated text varies by country, which is outside anyone's control. The music you make in Suno is covered by Suno's terms, not these.

10. Playing fair

Things that get an account suspended: hammering the service with scripts, scraping or reselling it, sharing one account across a group to dodge the caps, or using it for anything illegal. If I ever suspend an account, I'll tell you why, and if money's involved I'll handle it fairly.

11. The honest disclaimer

SUNO GPT is provided as-is. I work on it constantly and I'm proud of what it puts out, but I can't promise every prompt will be perfect, that Suno will accept every generation, or that the site will never have a bad day. AI writes the outputs, and AI is sometimes confidently wrong. To the extent the law allows, my total liability to you is capped at what you've paid me in the last 12 months.

12. If SUNO GPT ever winds down

SUNO GPT is a living tool: features change, get replaced, and one day the service itself may retire. If I ever shut it down, you'll get notice and a refund of the unused part of anything you prepaid. And if I ever sell or hand off SUNO GPT, these terms and your account transfer with it.

13. If we disagree

Email me first: chillpanic@sunogpt.ai. Nearly everything gets sorted in a message or two between reasonable people. One lawyer sentence to finish the job: if any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.

14. Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a way that matters, I'll update the date at the top, and for big changes I'll email account holders. Using the site after a change means you're okay with the new version.
